Forest and Woodland Strategy - Consultation
0 %
West Lothian Council has prepared a Draft Forest and Woodland Strategy (FWS) and is seeking views on its proposals. The Strategy has been prepared to meet the requirements of Section 159 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, as amended by the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019, and to support planning and land-use decision-making. It sets out a vision and framework for the protection, management and expansion of forests, woodlands and trees across West Lothian between 2027 and 2037.

We welcome comments on any aspect of the draft Strategy, including its evidence base, priorities, proposals and accompanying maps. Feedback received during consultation will help shape the final Strategy prior to adoption.
